Remembering

A photo with a dual meaning today. Firstly, the Union flag is flying outside our church to commemorate Armistice Day, remembering all those who have lost their lives in defending our freedom in times of war.

Secondly, this new banner has just been erected to show passers by that our church is celebrating its 150th anniversary at the end of the month. That will be a time of remembering too, with a service of thanksgiving in church, and an exhibition of memorabilia on display in the hall, outlining the church’s history.
