Sunbeams (Day 3472)

After an early.morning wander with Sigyn I did some stuff at home to use up time before heading to town for my appointment with the osteopath.
Holly the osteopath was great, asking loads of questions and poking and prodding me to try and get to the cause of my sciatica. Her diagnosis is that I probably have a bulging disc and sacroiliac issues. She doesn't think there is much she can do for me and suggested going to the GP to get some form of pain relief.
I trundled to the GP surgery to get an appointment only to be told by the officious receptionist that the only way to get an appointment is to phone between 830am and 1230. My name would then be put on a list and a doctor would call me back sometime during the day and decide if I need to be seen or not. Apparently there is absolutely no way to organise an appointment without jumping through hoops, sadly I am in no fit state for hoop jumping.
Back home for lunch, then Sigyn and I headed to Stromness to meet Mum and Birsay for a wander along the shore. After the wander I left Sigyn with Mum while I checked on the horses, dished out more hay and lots of scratches.
Back to Mum's for coffee before heading home to await the return of my beautiful wife from more adventures overseas.
