Caerketton Craigs and the T-Wood

A grey, but fairly bright, start to the day. Some overnight rain has left the ground pretty damp. On the morning daunder around the park, it feels quite a bit warmer than yesterday. After morning coffee, got around to planning DIY projects needing doing around the house.

In the afternoon, partner and I walk up to Swanston, where the blip photo was taken. Quite blustery now, and the clouds are moving at a fair rate across the sky (not that the photograph shows any of that). All three Highland Cows were quite close together, and being photographed by several visitors. In the distance I can see sunlight on some high rise buildings in North Edinburgh. As we walk around, cloud slowly clear. The last of them head east just as the sun dips behind the Pentland Hills, just after 3pm. Thankfully as we head home, away the the hills, the sun 'rises' again. By the time we get to the local park, the very last of the day's sunlight is highlight the trees on the northern and eastern side of the park.
