Larch Trees
A crisp sunny day today. While it has been cold overnight, the sun feels warm on the morning walk. Along the Firth of Forth, there is haar heading out towards the North Sea. No views north, but Burntisland is just about visible, no Lomond Hills. Nice views of Edinburgh Castle is visible but hazy. In the park, these larch trees are looking good in the autumn sunlight. The one on the left is rather wonky, probably from being too close to larger European Maple trees. The tall one on the right looks a lot straighter when viewed from the other side. From this side, leans away from larger deciduous trees.
After work walk is delayed as I have a residents association meeting. I miss the lovely sunset. But partner and I walk around the block to up our daily steps. Not feeling too chilly at the moment once the sun sinks below the horizon
