Calm on The Firth of Clyde

We arrived in Largs late last night. Don’t mention the arrangements for picking up a hired car in Prestwick. Let’s just say that the pick up isn’t in the airport.

The main event today was visiting Jean (Bb’s mum) in hospital. Lovely to see her again. She seemed a bit ‘fuller’ than on our last visit at the end of September. Bb will be attending a meeting tomorrow, in which her move into a particular care home in Largs will be discussed. We visited it on our last visit and are hopeful. Other assessments have already taken place as it’s now been decided that she needs more care (which includes company and stimulation) than living independently gives her.

We both did an hour of online work this afternoon and some shopping and admin to help this week go ok. See Bb’s blip for one of his mum.
