Looking back towards Faversham

This photo is from Sunday.  Whilst we were out walking l looked back across the mud flats towards the marina and further to Faversham.  I rather liked the way the mists were still gathered giving the place  an aura and l could imagine it from another time.  The skeletal boat remains in the forefront are most probably from one of the old barges which used to take locally made bricks up to London frequently bringing back ash and horse dung from  the main means of transport over a century and a half ago, these wrecks are quite easy to find around  this part of the east coast.
