Canal du Midi - Day 2

A walk along Canal Robine from the hotel into the city centre.  Loved this mural of Charles Trenet who was born in the city:

A fine city and a surprise was to find some much history and learn of the importance that it had during Roman times.  loved this bit of Roman road - as did the children!

After a walk along the canal side, ended up in the market building - Les Halles - with some fine stalls.

Then back along the canal to the hotel.
