Dandelion "clock"
Backblip
Saturday! A leisurely prepping of the Lodge as we have no guests in until next week. We didn't finish the jobs as I need to come back and have a first attack on the autumn leaves. We have two small deciduous bushes yet we have drifts up to two feet deep. I saw Sycamore, Beech (hardly a surprise a next door has a copper beech, Sweet Chestnut and Red Oak.
Wandering the garden looking for a blip I spotted an out of season Dandelion "clock". As children we used to call them clocks because the story/belief was that if you blew on the seed head the number of blows it took showed the number of the hour it was.
