Henry Tudor Inn
Today I went to Shrewsbury for a meeting. While I was there I took a photo of Henry Tudor Inn which is one of the oldest half timbered buildings in Shrewsbury as it dates from 1429 and was refurbished last year. There's also a shot through it's archway.
Henry Tudor (Henry VII) stayed there in 1485 before defeating King Richard III at the battle of Bosworth Field.
On the bus, going home, I sat by someone that I know slightly from U3A and Pilates. When we were chatting we discovered that we came from next door villages in west Shropshire. We also went to the same youth clubin my villageand remembered some of the same people although we didn't remember each other. What a small world!
