Reston
Today was sunny, and I was out relatively early with Django as there was plenty to do before leaving home. I still gave him a decent walk, as it was a nice, sunny morning, but then I had to hoover, shower and pack. I almost took an earlier bus, but realised they if forgotten my mouse, so looped back through the park and took the intended bus.
In Edinburgh, at the Bayes Centre I had a productive meeting with my year 4 project student, before getting some work done of my own. Then it was time to walk to Waverley Station, where I met up with our developer F. Our train left at 14:30 but, just after 15:00, it stopped at Reston, which is about 20km from Berwick-upon-Tweed.
We stayed there for three hours, while a fault on a freight train ahead of us was diagnosed and fixed. We've just started moving again, and been told that our train will terminate at Newcastle-upon-Tyne. There, I assume, we'll transfer to one of the trains that was stacked up behind us, and make our way to London.
