It's another day 
of sunshine in paradise.
What could be better?

My first cup of coffee at 6 AM tasted really good. The sun doesn't show up until almost 7:30 so coffee was in the dark again. 

I'm home waiting for someone to show up to give me an estimate for yard clean-up. I should be getting ready to go to the library for our art club meeting but I may have to miss that today. At the end of the summer Yuma experiences a monsoon which douses the area and brings on weeds like crazy. The yard needs a lot of work.

I've taken a brief walk around the 'estate'. The desert willow tree in my back yard is almost over its bloom. The flowers look like orchids and the tree is just beautiful at its best. My lantana has just about taken over. It will need to be cut back. 

A neighbour always has the flag flying. At night there is a light focused on it. I think that might be a law. One neighbour has this jaunty flag of Arizona at his gate. I really like this flag. I might get one myself. 

I'm home for the day......waiting.
