An idea?
It's not that long since I took a shot of it all. Today I noticed that it's still not in full flower, N. B. Thumbnail.
I had a thought. Thus - Is there a month in our Garden when it's totally devoid of ANY Flower?
From memory this p.m. I saw a Dandelion, a Buttercup, the last Alstroemeria, a Foxglove, the last of the Cyclamen, Lavender and, of course the Viburnum × bodnantense
What I was totally unaware of, so left until last, was this:-
"Learn about Common fumitory, a pink-flowered plant that grows on dry and disturbed soils. Find out how to identify it, where to see it, and why it is poisonous." I learnt it was Fumitory "way back Home" as a kid; Poison was never mentioned.
SO - Back to the Page for a read.
Another Plant which has, evidently, NOT read the Book?
"When to see - April to October".
DUH? "One man's meat~ ~ ~ "
"Historically, herbalists have used Common fumitory to treat conjunctivitis and skin diseases, and to cleanse the kidneys. But the plant is actually poisonous, so this should not be tried at home."
