Looking The Other Way

It was refreshing to have blue skies for the first time in a while on this morning’s golf round and we all managed to play well.

I took this blip from behind the 11th green - pretty much the opposite direction to last Tuesday’s blip.

We had to pick Sophie up early from school this afternoon as the tragic accident on the M5 and the consequent gridlock on the roads in the area meant that many staff and students just couldn’t get in and those that did had to be sent home early.

When we got back, Sophie challenged me to a game of chess which kept us busy until tea time. She’s already getting good at planning and anticipating series of moves.
