Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

November skies.

My blip was taken at around 4.30pm. the ornamental roof is that of my granddaughters' primary school. I took the pic from the top floor of the Waitrose carpark, ducking down to miss the street lights etc, you can still see a row of cars to the left though.
I met someone else up there taking pictures so said hallo and told her all about blip, maybe she'll appear, she seemed interested.
Tuesday today so I did my shift at the Charity Shop. I ticketed about 50 pairs of trousers. We have so many donations just now, almost too much to keep up with.
About half of the trousers I hung and ticketed were brand new with their labels still attached. I think we get so easily sucked into buying things in sales that we really don't need. I really have to get stuck into clearing some of my own things out. Sally I'm failing as one of the things I did do was unpack Mil's teaset and put it into a cupboard. It's been in a box in the bedroom since February!

This afternoon we drove over to Roseburn to drop off a video to be converted to digital format. Fingers crossed it isn't too fragile as it dates from 1993 and it's very precious!
This evening we've had a quiet time, caught up with the Monday night quizzes - we've only one week of each left to watch now.
.....and tomorrow is another day....
"Let's hope it's a good one, without any tears...." To quote John Lennon.
