A Walk in the Woods

We had downpours last night - I could hear the rain on my flat roof. Fortunately the rain paused for a few hours this morning and I got out to walk at the Tualatin Hills Nature Center, where I try to go at least once a week. It's a pleasant place to walk, even in the rain. We've got wind and flood watches tonight and tomorrow so I'm guessing that any leaves left on the trees will blow down tonight. The rains have begun.
