Birthday Boy

My grandson doesn't actually turn 7 until Wednesday, but we had our family party today since he's got his birthday party with his friends on Wednesday. He loves chocolate so I got him this huge cupcake. The rest of us wouldn't choose chocolate so we got to eat paler cupcakes. He promptly licked all the frosting off and ate very little of the cake itself, but he was pleased. A lot of Star Wars legos were gifted and he's off and running on his birthday week!

Izzy the cat was feeling very out of sorts this morning, but fortunately the vet was able to see her this afternoon. $540 later, with a bagful of antibiotics and probiotics and fingers crossed, she's home being treated like the princess kitty that she is. Groan.
