Sunrise and sunset
The bit in the middle was pretty good too!
We are being blessed with some tremendous weather and hence wondrous views as the sun rises every morning and descends in the evening. The remarkable colours when the light passes through the differing depths of our atmospheric environment cannot be replicated here on a telephone camera but I have the privilege of having the original image in my own data base.
Maisie had lifted a fully grown roe deer stag from the woods and it came crashing out and across the frost covered field heading towards a startled Dippy who paused for less than a second before joining in the chasing game.fortunately both dogs responded to my recall commands.
I had run out of water late the previous evening and so my priority was to refill the water tank after which I showered, washed my socks and other smaller items whilst Vivienne kindly popped my bedding and other clothes into her washing machine.
A chilly but refreshing north east breeze kept temperatures down but Dippy was content sitting under the cherry tree “smiling” in a half awake mode.
After a light lunch of venison sausage casserole we headed out for more Dippy food and a door mat to hopefully remove some of the campsite debris before it enters the van.
An invitation for supper with an ex client who has health issues was enjoyed, sea bass, parmentier potatoes roasted mini plum tomatoes broad beans and carrots accompanied with a balsamic coated mixed leaves salad. It went down well!
Dippy was very entertaining, my friend E leaving the playtime for his partner who re homes and rescues I’ll treated dogs.
Home by 21:00 and in between the duvet by 21:30.
