Finished clearing the garden this morning- apart from the salvia and lobelia which are still flowering. Had just started to plant some tulip bulbs when the man came to inspect the grass and suggest a treatment regime. He was a bit gruff but knew his stuff so I decided to go ahead and he did the first treatment.
Went in for some lunch and then decided to wax A’s chair as I wanted to get two coats on before tomorrow. Went to Js to deliver some stuff for Saturday whilst I was waiting for it to sink in, got back and buffed it all and did the second coat. In between I waxed the legs of the small chair that I finished a couple of weeks ago and ironed the fabric ready for upholstery tomorrow. By the time I’d finished it was dark so the tulip bulbs are still waiting. Did manage to get a photo of my solar lanterns at dusk though - have been meaning to do this for a while!
