Ducklings

Today has been a lovely day spent relaxing and having fun with friends. I was treated to a spa day and we had a great time. The morning was spent bobbing about in the pool, snoozing in the relaxation room and having our back massages. We then had a very tasty lunch sitting outside, enjoying the glorious weather. After lunch it was time for some crazy golf silliness and a stroll round the grounds. A fantastic day with some lovely people and a great way to start the holiday and recover from the emotions of recent days.

Whilst we were chatting over lunch a mother duck and her brood of about 7 ducklings waddled past us, so I launched out of my seat and proceeded to try to take pictures of her and her family. They made their way to a pond which had high concrete sides and the little ones weren't too sure how to get over it, so they all sat down and had a little think.
