A Certain Symmetry

Here’s Mum’s new home, as of this coming Monday - Hutton Park, Largs. All the bay or oriol windows are public rooms of one sort or another, both upstairs and down, and all with views over the Firth of Clyde. Mum’s room, to start with, will be ground floor to the back but it is only two steps from a small, quiet sitting room with French windows - lower level to the right of this frame.

The building has a certain symmetry but the more important one is that Dd and I will set her room up on Saturday with items from her flat, just as we moved her 22 year ago from Pitlochry and set her up in her then new flat in Largs!
