The Lake District Herdwick

Because The Man couldn't drive today after his cataract operation yesterday, I chose a local venue for a Wednesday trip out for us and The B-I-L. 

I'd noticed there was an exhibition on at Rheged of Herdwick Sheep Photography by Ian Lawson. It's his third time here and I've been to the other 2.  This is a free event and the photographs are ones you wish you'd taken. Never mind, a four-figure sum will get you a nice big one!

Get there by Sunday, 24th November.

I wish now that I'd asked if I could take a wide view of the gallery, it would have made it more noticeable to blippers within travelling distance. Instead I photographed a dog lead made from herdwick wool.

Sorry to hear about the death of Timothy West. I hope Prunella will be well cared for.
