St. Thomas the Apostle Orthodox Church

It was cooler today but not really uncomfortable. We did a few inside jobs, I ordered some gifts, and had breakfast. My sister and BIL stopped by to pick up an extra Kindle to share with a friend. My sister is always looking to make folks’ lives better. Hubby and I went to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. We tried Pollo Fiesta and it was so good. I think I could make that dish if I knew which spices they used. We continued north so I could buy country sausage from our fav meat market. On the way, I was finally able to get a glimpse of this Orthodox church from the main road. I’d always wondered where it was. There must have been trees removed. We stopped on the way back so I could get my blip. I looked on line but wasn’t able to gather much information about it. It was started by immigrants from Slovakia, Poland and Western Ukraine and now has a very diverse congregation from our tri-county area. We had meds to pick up on base. Hubby dropped me off at the Commissary so I could get a few annual German stocking stuffers. Chase and my mother will be happy. I also bought a large roast for our WV crowd. Then we went to one more grocery store to get needed items and more stocking stuffers. I’m feeling better every day as I cross more items off my “still to purchase “ list. Wishing you an easy shopping season. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “Humility, which is a virtue, is always fruitful in good works.” - Thomas the Apostle
