Opps!

The damage was worse than expected. We were in the absolute center of the tornado. The school offices are due West of us and we had large pieces of their roof in our front and back yard; it is amazing we didn't have a broken window. They were the only location with more damage then we did. The tornado was isolated to a very small area, unfortunately we were at the East end of that area. If you are in Portland and saw the news about the tornado then you probably saw our yard; lots of people called us asking if we were okay!!

The good news is that we have our choice of repair people offering to work on our fence, tree, roof and storage shed. Lots of gawkers taking photos of our damage and more leaving their business cards to repair. We have it all arranged. Good feeling to know we can go home tomorrow and trusted people are taking care of things here.
