Flowers in the city

Never thought I’d be celebrating my birthday in Germany! Renata brought a card and Roger’s ginger crème chocolate from home, and she sneakily bought a Gustav Klimt fridge magnet in Vienna for me. We had cappuccinos and croissants from the excellent bakery close to the Airbnb for breakfast, then they took me out for waffles for a late lunch. I had a tomato, lettuce and mozzarella waffle drizzled with balsamic glaze, so tasty. Kalyn has a practice at 6:30, so we’re going to watch part of that. I got birthday messages from G, Krista, and friends. A lovely relaxing day.
