Egyptian Goose
Late morning today, we headed out to Millennium Lake in North Hykeham to have a walk around and take some photos. Last time we went there was in summer and it was very overgrown, meaning that much of the lake was obscured by bushes. They are now mostly bare, making it possible to see a bit more lake activity.
We could see Tufted Ducks and a Little Grebe out on the lake, mostly too far back to take photos of. The Egyptian Geese were standing close to the shore, preening their feathers. This is where they've usually been every time we have visited the lake.
On the way home we picked up a few groceries from Lidl. I didn't get much done after lunch as Minstrel went to sleep on my lap! Brian tidied the pan cupboard. I'm sure he will have done a good job - I just hope I can still find things!
