Whee!

I managed to capture a male broad-billed hummingbird in the park. I don't get them in my yard and have no idea why, unless they like the variety of trees the park offers better.

Nothing formally on the schedule for the rest of the day. I need to buy some foodstuffs and get going on a few things around the house that I have been putting off.  I've been doing what most people would probably do in the spring, and that's cleaning the big things. I had the windows washed last Saturday because they were filthy. Yesterday, I had the carpet cleaned then I spray washed the patio furniture. I have more energy to do this stuff now that the weather has turned cooler. Spring cleaning gets me bogged down by allergies.

I had a nice chat with a blipper in England this morning.  Always nice to meet another blipper in (semi-) person.

One day a housework challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to his wife, “What setting do I use on the washing machine?” “It depends,” she replied. “What does it say on your shirt?”
Proudly he yelled back, “Dallas Cowboys!”
