River Yealm at Kitley

Strangely for this part of the country it has been some time since it last rained which has ensured that the succession of fallen Beech leaves has retained their colour, remaining dry and crisp instead of being turned to mulch by feet/wheels. There is even a build up of leaves on rocks which are visible above the water level - see extra. . A slightly warmer day with little wind making it feel more pleasant and therefore suitable for more outside jobs.
