The exposed roots of the mature Beech tree have left pockets which have been filled by the fallen leaves. Similar, in some degree, to yesterday's image but the colour will soon fade away as the leaves mulch down.
Very warm in the sunshine in sheltered places around mid-day, but cloud soon rolled in and the temperature dropped.
