Is that a green glow?

Aurora watch was giving me a red alert, but Stroud is full of light pollution. I am not convinced that this is really a glow. 

E and I went to Cirencester to explore. She hadn't been there before, and it is an attractive town with some Roman remains , an indoor and outdoor Saturday market, some upmarket shops, an arts centre, and of  course some charity shops! We had a lot of fun. I got an outfit for a works Christmas do for £4.00, and some hand made dichroic glass earrings. 

Got back, talked about the India trip (we're going there in February, together) then went out to the book festival again, to see an author called Roman Kznaric talking about how we can learn how to address the problems posed in the future by taking successful examples from the past. Fascinating!

I took this shot on the way back.home. Steve had got together a curry for us when we reached home. The rest is a bit of a blur.
