Wet paint

This has just appeared! Someone has painted - or had painted - their garage door, just around the corner. I like it very much, the colours are so good, and the shapes have echoes of Matisse’s cutouts. It really couldn’t be sweeter or prettier. 
I imagine it’s connected to Totterdown Art Trail which starts today. There’s another fabulous new mural just along from this one - but so far I haven’t seen it without parked cars partially hiding it. Parking is such a pain around here. 
A morning video call with my old team - the 5 of us worked together for many years and are still close. Aging and some serious health problems, but it’s wonderful to see them and have a monthly get together. 
I saw Paddington in Peru in the evening.  Very sweet, clever, funny, entertaining. Really worried about my film friend H, who still has long lasting effects from the covid she had in the summer. It has affected her heart - she’s having lots of tests and a plan of treatment is being figured out. There is a good cardiac unit here, so I’m hoping they can help her.
