Cheating

The guilt is overwhelming and so I have to absolve myself and admit that I cheated on Kakaw yesterday.

It was with this creamy minty chocolatey number from No Hands Rest and whilst it was undoubtedly good, it was nothing on my usual.

Still, I got to enjoy it over a nice chat with a friend and accompanied by some delicious cakes too.

Nice interlude in a day which started with a busy morning in the office and finished with an online Parents Evening. The first for m’boy in his secondary school.

The feedback was glowing and I was delighted to hear that it wasn’t just about the quality and level of his work, but also his personality and strength of character.

Couldn’t be prouder of him!
