One of the projects I tried today. This one was wished by a teacher coming every other week (or so) to have a meeting with our bosses. She told me about her great grandmother, who was crafting a lot, and created roses out of red wrapping tissue. Her wish was that I created roses out of wrapping tissue too, and she’s going to borrow a rose from her mother or sister so I can take a look. I created this just as a test run and she thought it close to the original, but her familys’ are larger and have sparkle. It’ll be fun to see how hers is created.
I also folded paper stars, made a template for a paper ’fir’ we will create (and drew the template on a bunch of thicker paper, ready to be cut out), folded an angel, taught a coworker the cash machine, was a sounding board for another coworker and the project I forwarded to her, gave coworkers work, handled customers, laughed with the bosses, helped unload a van filled with pots in cardboard boxes and managed to needle felt one snowball without drawing blood…
And, yes…I'm so tired and happy it’s Friday!
