Gladioli

Thank you to you lovely blippers for a warm welcome back. I had wondered if anyone would remember me!! It seems the warmth of this place hasn't changed which is reassuring in this increasingly cynical world.

I had been planning to have a play in the garden with some camera settings but there was quite a breeze so I had to change tack.  This is a very late flowering gladioli which is still looking remarkably elegant and unspoiled.  With the weather set to turn colder next week I thought I would take the opportunity to photograph it before it is fades in the frost and possible snow.
