Cambridge

Today I spent a few hours in Cambridge on my way back to Edinburgh, taking the opportunity to visit a former MSc student who is now working for a company with whom we collaborate. I've not seen her for a few years, so it was good to have time to catch up. 

Although better than the journey south, there was rail chaos in the Peterborough area - where I picked up the train to Edinburgh. PhD student Y was on the train, so we could discuss the valuable follow-up meeting she'd had with S at KCL this morning.
