A Vase of Red

It has been cold and windy for most of day. Lots of black clouds were passing by at times. I heard some thunder in the distance. We had one heavy shower of rain which only lasted a couple of minutes. You could see other places nearby were getting rain, but it mostly pass us by. The temperature was around 10c for most of the day. 

It has warmed up a bit now and we have blue skies. It is going to be 3c overnight. There has been some snow on the hills and mountains nearby. 

I picked these roses yesterday just Incase they got damage by the wind and rain. That didn't happen.
