Men Not At Work

I had to drop my brother off for his usual appointment today so I did my accustomed pit stop at Loose village before I had to return and pick him up.
It was back to being overcast and damp but I was still determined to head out for my regular circuitous walk around the village. When I set off I could see some men carrying out ongoing conservation work on and around the causeway and the nearby river bank and thought it might make a good image but continued my walk deciding to capture them on my way back. However, by the time I returned they had all disappeared. I know it's not exactly the most enthralling image but I took this shot anyway as I just liked the pops of colour from the red and yellow buckets, the garden fork and the wheelbarrow against that characterful wall and the vegetation in the foreground.
As I continued my walk I discovered that the workers had actually just stopped for a well earned tea break with a gentleman sporting a rather wonderful white handlebar moustache handing out steaming mugs of tea. That would have made for a much better image but I'm still not at the stage where I can go up to complete strangers to ask if I can take their picture. So the title of my image was only noting their absence and in no way intended to cast aspersions on their work ethic!
