New wellies

This is my first pair of new full length wellies since 1977. I upgraded today because my old black ones are too tight on me now. The purple replacements were on display at the Stockbridge Bethany shop, unworn and for sale at a bargain price. I picked them up on my way back from the gym at lunchtime.

In further good news, I won both games of Catan this evening. It felt like the good old days again, i.e. before Mr hazelh and Jon got fed up with my winning all the time and started to work in league against me whenever we play.

Also, Mr hazelh's third cousin Guy (grandson of Lorna Lloyd's first cousin Diana) has been in the 'real' news on the BBC web site. Guy and other members of the family have been to Korea to visit the newly-identified grave of Diana's first husband, who was killed in the Korean war. Until very recently, nobody knew his final resting place in a cemetery in Busan, as I noted earlier this year in my blip of 24th April 2024. Now they do.

Auctioneer admin kept me busy much of the afternoon (again).

Exercise today: pilates class; swim (30 lengths); walking (13,305 steps). (No exercise bike due to very poor night's sleep.)
