New growth

We have been so warm here with no frost yet even though it is getting much cooler.

This morning I was picking up some little oak limbs that had fallen and noticed green shoots coming up among the leaves in the flower bed. I think these may be the little short dwarf irises or Dutch irises. I covered them back up with leaves after I took this photo.

I still have mums blooming and a few other flowers. Fall is hanging on here.
