Arctic blast

Photo: the weather people have told us to prepare for an Arctic blast with plummeting temperatures. 
 
So final preparations took place this morning emptying  the garage, digging out the cans of de-icers, scrapers and bucket of salt . We are ready for sub-zero temperatures and snow. 
 
On the other hand, we often miss all the bad weather forecast for Scotland, something to do with being in the centre. 
All this work alarmed Leo, the cat, and I could see the panic in his little face as he scurried around trying to work out what was going on.
 Did he think he was about to be abandoned again?
