The Beaver...Plus One

We missed the Beaver Moon yesterday because we were clouded over. But not tonight. When I came back from the grocery store at 7 p.m., the Beaver was lighting up the street.

I pulled out the old Canon SX30IS for the shot. It zooms up to 35X, and is my favorite camera for lunar attempts.

Hard to believe that is 239.000 miles away. It sometimes looks like you could reach out and touch it. 

I did do some painting today,
and for groceries, I was the retriever.
Returning...I spotted the giant orb,
It's the Moon, the Moon of the Beaver.
