Light and Shade….. Hosta Lily.

Maisie the Labradoodle and I sidetracked through Pollard Park and Waterlea Gardens during our walk early this morning. We visited the Rhododendron Dell and found a large number of Hosta lilies, some of which were starting to flower. I like the light and shade in this image.
I visited my friend Cathie for Sunday Lunch. She makes yummy Mince Meat pies.
It was cold here yesterday and I had the wood stove burning firewood most of the day. Luckily it heats the hot water system which is a bonus. Then there was a frost overnight. There were frost/wind machines whirring away in nearby vineyards all night and into the early morning. Very unseasonable in my view.
