WET STRAWBERRY BLOOM

A visit over to see Mum today.  Had a good catch up and did a few chores for her.  My brother and his partner called as well so that was lovely.  

The weather on the way over wasn't too bad but it was grey by the time we got there.  When we left about 2.00 pm it is tipping it down and got heavier all the way up the A6, so we didn't stop anywhere just came straight home.

I could see this from our window so quickly dashed out into the garden to take a shot.  It's very late for a strawberry plant to be in flower isn't it???  Still it won't become fruit but I think the translucency of the petals due to the rain looks rather pretty and would make a nice blip.
