THE INCOMING TIDE

On drawing back the curtains this morning there was some cloud but also patches of blue skies, much better than the grey mist that descended yesterday.

Trip into town to do a bit of shopping.  Then a walk down Cross Street, The Esplanade, onto the Prom by the Commodore, along The Prom to the railway bridge, back down the main road and up through Main Street to meet Hubby for brunch (bacon bap really, which he has to help me finish mine but never complains about that funnily enough ;-) ).

Then back up to Cross Street to pick up the car and home again.  Hubby now up the allotment and I'm sorting out the few photos I took today.  I need to submit my entries for this week's theme of a third (composition really I suppose).  LetsDo52, which is sub-group from  the AYMC and EDPS groups I joined and with the great admins we have, like CumbriaLass, we have a weekly theme and can submit 2 entries.  The photos have to be current, well fairly current, so within a few weeks on the theme.  Sometimes easy sometimes very challenging but mostly fun.

We don't have winners as such just favourites.  It started off by the admins selecting one favourite each so there would be 4, then the following week those 4 favourites would then choose one each to be their favourite and so it rolls on.

I've been fortunate enough that I've had a few selected, which I'm  always amazed by because there are some cracking photographers in the group.  Anyway one of mine was chosen as a favourite last week on the them of anthropomorphism (pareidolia) seeing a face in inanimate objects) so I have to select one on this weeks theme as my favourite.  This is not that easy because very often you have several that you love and then trying to sift through those, phew.  Still it's a good boost for everyone and it keeps inspiration going in all things photographic.

That's it from me for today.  Do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
