Morning walk……..

……..to beat the incoming weather.
It was sunny first thing after some overnight rain, and I was itching to have some fresh air outside, given the fact that rain would arrive in the afternoon.
Stephen drove us to the lane which is a cul de sac once more, and parked the car.
You can see it in the photo.
Lots of families out for a stroll as there are field footpaths either side of this lane which we have used many times the past few years. They are marked with the usual Footpath signs.
It was lovely in the sunshine, with the leaf carpets on either side of the tarmac road, and sunlight twinkling through the remaining, mainly oak, leaves still refusing to give in and descend.
The overhanging interlacing branches making a tree tunnel.
30 minutes is the recommended limit each day for a walk whilst recovering. So we walked 15 minutes along from the car, me taking lots of photos, and then back again.
It was enough.
On arriving back at home we watched the church service on-line and had our Sunday lunch. Stephen makes a lovely Chicken Forestière. It was very tasty!
I’m now wrapped in my snuggle blanket, about to watch another episode of The Moonflower Murders on BBCiPlayer.
The weather did close in by lunchtime and it is raining outside.
I’ve just had a call from a Staff Nurse at the hospital checking in to see how I am getting on. I was able to have some advice about the meds, and exercise once more.
Once again reassuring on my second weekend at home,
Well, I’ll catch up a bit with blips later.
Winter is on its way, having watched the Weather. Forecast at lunchtime!
It will be a bit of a shock after such a mild November, not least to all the plants which still are blooming!
