Continuing crocheting.

The 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time of the Church Calendar.

The Feast Day of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary. She had a very happy early marriage but her husband passed away from the plague.
She joined the third order of Franciscans. Sadly, her life was harsh and she suffered as a result of humiliation, cruelty and abuse from her Confessor. She passed away in 1231.

Also, The Feast Day of Saint Hilda of Whitby.

Here today it is overcast, cold, 4c outside and raining. The lawn is saturated.

I am happy to be here and watching a Catherine Cookson drama, called The Tide of Life.
