Hind and Calf

Had a lovely start to the day walking around the areas where the deer tend to congregate at this time of year.  The low sun helped to backlight this hind and her calf at the edge of the field and the remaining leaves all helped to give this scene a really warm feel. I even needed to dial down the warmth and saturation of the image.

Spent much of the day getting things ready for a trip up to the Lake District, where the forecast is for snow during Monday night.  I've only rarely experienced the Lakes with snow so I'm looking forward to it.
