Natural Light
So many glimpses through the leaves just didn't work, but it was fun trying to fathom what wasn't working in order to realise what might work.
I was happy with the shape of this one, so faffing was limited to the fading vignette. Nature supplied all the colours I needed.
It's funny how we can often be very clear what we don't like, yet less able to imagine what 'right ' might look (or sound, or feel ...) like.
I remember some advice on how to draw easily; look at the paper until you can clearly see the image that you want - then draw round it. It's amazing how helpful the mind can be in shuffling shapes internally and then recognising the one it wants.
