It's Appealing

I guessed that the continual peeling of birch bark allows for growth and keeps the bark clean.

A brief search has suggested the peeling allows for wide temperature variations,  efficient absorption of sunlight in dappled environments and the ability to slogh off some pests and diseases.

Has anyone tried a time lapse of birch bark peeling?

Thanks for hosting mono Monday,  Jen
