The Party's Over

Our little lunch party for our very dear Senior Partner of the Law Firm I once worked in went very well today. He was 90 at the beginning of this month but due to his popularity he has had many other parties to go to, but luckily for us he had this weekend free.  He thought he was just having lunch with a friend and was suitably surprised when entering the house 7 of his trusted old staff popped out from various places 

Food was delicious, we all chipped in: a very fine lasagne, choice of salads and garlic bread followed by a selection of puddings made by us. A pavlova, Creme Brulees and my chocolate roulade and some very nice wine too. 

JU loved his book. I WhatsApped one of his daughters to tell her that her Father was enjoying himself and she replied "I'm glad, and I know he feels very lucky to have had a life surrounded by wonderful women!!".
