A good time to travel

Having done as much as we can for now down south I travelled home today leaving St Neots on the 10.07am train.
A pretty good journey, just two changes, and the blip shows the second change at Darlington.
I don’t know why, but I really liked this station.
It had a traditional, calm feel to it. Granted it wasn’t overly busy, maybe that’s why.
Arrived home just after 2pm, so 4 hours which is quite acceptable.
I invested in a senior railcard this time too, so got a third off the ticket price :-)
